Horimed  Technology Co., Ltd. was established in 2016, focusing on Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS) equipment and catheters, Optical coherence tomography (OCT) equipment and catheters, IVUS&OCT integrated dual catheter system, non-invasive  Fractional Flow Reserve (FFR) platform based on IVUS and OCT, single light source with dual-mode OCT-NIRS technology integrating OCT and Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (NIRS) and intravascular laser plaque ablation technology. We have mastered the technologies of optical, ultrasound and catheter platforms, covering a complete R&D, production, marketing and service network system, We are committed to providing pan-vascular integration solutions based on imaging products for both domestic and foreign patients and doctors.

Horimedhas a high level of endoscopic OCT technology, angiography OCT technology ,polarization sensitive OCT technology and other OCT technology.The company's core products optical coherence tomography (OCT) system and optical imaging catheter, intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) system and the ultrasound imaging catheter have independent intellectual property rights and core manufacturing processes. 

Talent reserve

Horimed  has a complete R & D team and sales team, with about 400 employees, bringing together graduates from the University of Washington, the University of Southern California and other universities. The professional research fields cover optics, machinery, electronics, software, medical, etc.With rich and solid research and development experience, covering a complete set of OCT, IVUS ，OCT&IVUS hybrid equipment and catheters,and also have a deep technical reserves of intravascular laser ablation technology. 

In the fields of optics, ultrasound, core imaging algorithm, medical catheter technology and so on, we have a deep technical foundation and talent reserve, and have formed a perfect research and development system in the fields of cardiovascular OCT, IVUS and multi-modal imaging. 

The core experts have been engaged in research in related fields for nearly 20 years, have R & D laboratories both at home and abroad, and have close cooperation with global biological imaging experts, and have established strategic cooperative relations with many universities, scientific research institutes and hospitals. 

R&D capability

Horimed has a strong ability for continuous research and development  as well as large -scale manufacturing . We focus on the research and development of equipment and catheters  in the field of pan-Vascular Endovascular imaging diagnosis and treatment, and have established a complete quality, research and development, production and sales system. 

At this stage, Horimed  has nearly 50 invention patents, with a total of more than 150 authorized patents and applied patents. It has established deep cooperative relations with key hospitals such as Zhongshan Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University, Beijing Fuwai Hospital, Beijing Anzhen Hospital, and the Second Hospital of Jilin University, Zhejiang University and other institutions to carry out strategic cooperation. 

Horimed l has successively undertaken a number of scientific research projects, including 2 National Natural Science Foundation of China projects, 2 Tianjin Science and Technology Program projects, and 1 Tianjin Education Commission Research Program project, etc.
